What’s next…

In Dosbarth Coch our topic this term is ‘Jolly Journeys’.  Through Pupil Voice we decided that we wanted to start by learning about cold places and where they are on our planet and we have set up an airport in our role play area so that we can go on adventures to different places.

Pupil Voice ideas include:

  • Making snow
  • Build an igloo
  • How is ice made?
  • Where are penguins from?

Throughout the term we will be exploring lots of stories such as ‘Mr Gumpy’s Outing’ through our Talk4Writing approach and we also have lots to look forward to such as Pancake Day, St. David’s Day, World Book Day and Easter.

In Reception/Year 1, We will continue to have ‘Trekking Tuesday’ (Woods Day) every week to further promote outdoor learning and develop our collaboration skills.

PE lessons continue to take place every Thursday.

Remember parents and family members can check your ‘Dojo’ app for information about activities, messages and notifications.  Diolch!  Thank you!
