Outdoor learning on the beach
The children have loved their morning on Coppet Hall beach. They enjoyed sketching and sand art creations before a stroll through the village.

Mastering Microbit coding
Pupils in year 4 are challenging themselves completing coding work using Microbits. So far the children have coded an interactive dice, programmed a countdown and added music to their names.

We are Energy warriors in Year 4.

Power down, layer up!
As part of Year 4's environmental work to reduce energy in our school, we will be turning the heating off from Thursday to Monday this week. Thank you @energysparks and @egnicoop for all your support and online resources.

What’s the perimeter?

What number’s next?
Loop cards are a favourite in Year 4! We have been looking at large numbers and ordering them from smallest to largest too.
What’s happening this term?
This term we will concentrating on UPCYCLING MATERIALS.
Numeracy – times tables, decimals, money, fractions, shape, direction and real life problem solving.
Literacy – Writing persuasive text linked to The Emperor’s New Clothes and weekly spelling/grammar lessons. Joined handwriting/letter formation is a key focus too!
Science – sound
Cymraeg – Disgrifio dillad
PE – tennis, cricket and rounders
RE – Parables
Art/DT – Costume design followed by a fashion show to model our creations.
