World Heart Day
Together we celebrated World Heart Day. Poppy told us about how special her heart is and we talked about how we can look after our hearts.

Our teddies came to the beach with us for a picnic. The weather was lovely and we had fun playing with our friends after our sandwiches and biscuits.

We love the outdoors!
We love to use our outdoor environment and we have been busy using natural resources to help us with our learning. Our favourite so far was collecting acorns and using them to help us with our maths.
Supertato!
We have been using Talk 4 writing to improve our oracy and writing skills. We have created a story map of 'Supertato' to help retell the story and focussing on key words to increase our vocabulary. We will be using our innovation skills to create our own 'Supertato'...
What’s happening this term?
Our main topic this term is ‘Terrific Toys’, where the children will explore toys from both the past and present. They’ll learn how different toys are made and investigate what kinds of toys mums, dads, and grandparents might have played with when they were younger. As part of our topic, we’re also planning a visit to Picton Castle to discover more about toys throughout history.
