What’s happening this term?

We have an exciting and busy term ahead! Here’s what we’ll be learning:
Our main topics are Kensuke’s Kingdom and after half term it will be Political Governance.
In English, we’ll be reading the novel by Michael Morpurgo and locating different countries on the world map. Our writing this term will include character descriptions, recounts and discussion texts.
In Maths, we’ll focus on place value, including negative numbers, and continue to build confidence in using the four operations to solve a range of problems.  Times tables will remain a focus as we progress through our class chart.
Our Science learning begins with studying forces.  We’re also looking forward to welcoming the Darwin Centre for some hands-on science workshops!
In Welsh, we’ll be giving commands and talking about ourselves in the present tense.
ICT and e-safety will remain a key focus this term as we continue to develop our DCF portfolios.
Additionally, we are looking forward to regular beach visits with our 4k digital cameras.
We are looking forward to a term full of learning, discovery, and memorable experiences!
